Whey Protein Pasta

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cups Semolina flour
  • 1/2 cup Whey Protein Powder (plain, unflavored)
  • 1/2 t. Salt (optional)
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
Directions for Bench Top Preparation:
  1. Combine semolina , whey protein and salt
  2. Combine eggs, water and olive oil. Add to semolina/whey protein mixture.
  3. Mix to make a stiff dough. Knead 10 minutes or until dough is elastic.
  4. Wrap dough in a towel or place in a plastic bag and let rest for 20 minutes.
  5. Roll dough out to desired thickness and cut as desired.
  6. Bring a large pot of water containing 1/2 tsp. oil to boil. Add pasta and cook until tender.

Yield: Makes 8 two ounce servings
